        Since 1960s, cancer has become the number one killer to Hong Kong people. Averagely one among three dead persons dies of cancer. The usual body parts where cancer occurs are lung, liver, colon, stomach and rectum in sequence, accounting for 60.3% of the total number of persons who die of cancer. Will there be an error or omission in killing? What can we do when the tumor cells make a comeback, if tumor cells cannot be completely killed and normal defensive systems are demolished? Will unsuccessful operation, radiotherapy and chemotherapy cause the deterioration of a disease? Are there really no methods to solve these difficulties?

        In the view of Professor Huang Weiming, a famous tumor expert: traditional Chinese medicine has a unique advantage for improving the quality of life of tumor patients, prolonging their survival time, reducing tumor relapse and transferring risk, and has a good complementary action for operation, radiotherapy and chemotherapy; in addition, it also plays another nonnegligible role on synergy and attenuation in radiotherapy and chemotherapy, so as to ensure the completion of radiotherapy and chemotherapy. As pointed out by Professor Zheng Yongqi of Yale University, a pioneer in anti-cancer medicine research in the world: malignant tumor is a systemic disease with complicated reasons for occurrence, and it is difficult for “unimolecule – single-target “ medicines to realize the aim in therapy. Only “multiple-component and multiple-target” traditional Chinese medicine is the ideal medicine to cure this disease.
